1961
Construction of the Factory Building.
The company comes into existence as a joint venture under the name of Groz-Beckert Sabu.The first production plant is setup at Chandigarh. Production of Knitting Needles is started.

1978
First change in the technology takes place.

1986
The company celebrates its silver jubilee.

1987
Construction of new workshop building and basement.

1993
The company is totally owned by GB, Germany and now, the name is Groz-Beckert Asia Ltd..

1994
Branch office is opened at Ludhiana.

1995
Expansion of Knitting Needles production. Starts dealing in Sewing Machine Needles manufactured by sister concerns.
Production Building is extended.

1996
Starts dealing in Felting Needles manufactured by sister concerns.

1998
Foundation stone is laid for manufacturing Sewing Machine Needles.

1999
Construction of SMN building takes place. Facilities for the production of Sewing Machine Needles are started. Starts dealing in Tufting Needles manufactured by the mother company.

2002
Additional land purchased to shift SMN production.
As 70% of our production is being exported to various countries. Government of India granted us "EXPORT HOUSE" Certificate.

2003
Inauguration of the new SMN premises done and facilities for production of sewing machine needles shifted to the changed location.

2005
Finishing of Sewing Machine Needles has been started from November 2005.

2006
Branch office is opened at Tirupur, South India.
